“I believe a leaf of grass is no less than the journey-work of the stars,
And the pismire is equally perfect, and a grain of sand, and the egg of the wren.”— Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass
About
I am an M.Sc. student in the Department of Machine Learning at MBZUAI, advised by Prof. Xue (Steve) Liu, and a researcher at the Cyber-Physical Intelligence Lab (CPIL). Before that, I received my B.Eng. in Electronic and Information Engineering (Seed Class) from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
My research aims to build LLM agents that are capable, personalized, and learn reliably from feedback. I currently focus on: 1) how data and rewards shape agentic reinforcement learning, and how agents turn retrieved knowledge into parametric memory [Agentic RL Scaling, ResMem]; 2) personalization in LLMs and generative recommenders [SID-NL, OxygenREC-v2, Preference Heads]; and 3) communication and evaluation in multi-agent systems [QUACK]. Earlier, I worked on dual-arm robotic lab automation and brain-inspired spiking neural networks.
